DL - I didn't know what "rise" really meant - googled it and yes, I think you're right, I've got a longer rise and so these fit well. Just got the VC seamed pants, too, and they work in the same way. Thanks for helping me learn a bit more about fit!
Kathleen - Thank goodness for tailoring, right?! Good catch on the SW loafers - got them on sale and they still need some breaking in but I love them - so cushy on the bottom and they work well with my wardrobe.
Jill - thank you!
Suzanne - Hey there, fellow knitter! "You have a great eye for architectural proportion that suits you well." - may be the best feedback I've ever gotten. Thank you. Bad news, my dear, this sweater is pretty heavy (for cashmere). I'm really not sure it makes sense to wear in my office since I also run warm. I'm hoping I can justify it for wearing in my colder house and long (but not too long) walks through the autumn leaves.
Fashion - I'm the least funny one in my household so I'm delighted to hear that I nearly provoked a spit take!
Susie - aren't the bell sleeves cool? I know they are going to look dated quickly but dammit, I'm going to enjoy the hell out of them for now!
Suz - thank you. My enormous love for the vest was the driving force behind writing a post. I wanted to spread the good vest word!
fathenry - I'll show you my Adidas styling ideas if you show me yours!
Ryce - thank you. Pants are the WORST. But pretty necessary. I am sad the Halogen cardi was gone - maybe stalking will pay off.
Emily K - thank you! I've found it so helpful to see others model the clothes that I had to try and give back a bit.
troff - thank you!
