I was sad so I ordered myself a pair of red boots. (happy now!) I think I love them but I need some outsider feedback about whether they a good fill for my shoe gap because even at 40% off, these are quite an investment for me.
I need shoes that I can wear casually with jeans (straight, skinny and bootcut). The shoes in question are Frye Melissa Button Short/Ankle booties in Bordeaux.
Here is what my current shoe collection looks like (I have some other gaps to fill, and I'm only recently getting on board with shoe infatuation!). As you can see, I already have Frye Melissa Button Tall boots in Cognac. I love them and I'm definitely a duplicate buyer for things that I find work for me.
Questions:
1. Are the bordeaux and cognac too similar?
2. Is the redundancy of style too much?
2. Are these a good fit for my style goals? (For professional clothes, I lean toward modern classic, simple, ladylike skirts and dresses. I haven't quite figured out my casual style, except that I live in jeans and tops or sweaters.)
