I caught some items a blogger I follow was selling so I got 6 new tops for $75. I hope they fit. I know by the cuts they should work on my body. Photos are of her

I also went out on a limb and got 4 things from universal standard. I’ve been looking at them for ages so with Angie’s nudge I went ahead and ordered. I am excited! Won’t get to try anything on til I arrive at my friends house on Nov 13, but it will be here soon.

Shevia, thanks! I must say the photos are of the blogger not me, though we are similar size and hair color and skin tone! Lol
So what looks good on her will usually look good on me as well!
Bright colors and high contrast work well for me so I’m hopeful all these will work out. I’m really excited and hopeful like you the US items will work out! When I get them I’ll post more.

Kellygirl, thanks! I was just second doubting the color choice of the dress. Why didn’t I go with safe black or navy? Something told me to go with the berry so I did! I’m already thinking of ways to style it so I think that’s a good sign. I have zero mustard in my wardrobe but I got a cheap H&M scarf that has a touch of mustard in it so I thought this was a cheap and easy way to try the new to me color. I’ll let you know how it goes! Thanks for your comments.
