lisap, no worries. I mean, who shops for summer in late August?

Angie, oh that's a fun idea! I have acquaintances in Seattle who worked with a jeweler to forge their own wedding rings, and I always thought that was so special! It would be neat to find a studio that taught working with precious metals...an experience combined with an item. Maybe once COVID calms down.

rachlou, I actually wouldn't mind a one-and-done statement dress for summer, but I waited a bit too long and the ones I was looking at are sold out.

A statement piece of jewellery would indeed be a nice, I also think a bespoke hair piece would be a lovely idea

If you don’t have any wardrobe holes, I think you’re fine. But if that money is burning a hole in your pocket, you could browse end-of-season closeout sales at places that are usually beyond your budget. You might not find anything, but you might.
