It's a good thing I didn't sign up for no-shopping November. I think I bought more in last month or so than I have in the past two years combined. The good news is I found some winners.

Cole Haan Loafers: These loafers walked 5-7 miles/day all over London last month. I had taken my Skechers for heavy walking days, but these were so much better on my hips and back that the Skechers only got worn one day. I wear my loafers sockless with a Spenco insert, so I sized up 1/2 size to accommodate the insert. I have a fairly narrow heel, but I need some room in the toe box, both horizontally and vertically to comfortably work. These are perfect. Great quality shoe.

Down Vests: I was ordering some things for my husband and son from Lands End and threw in some things for myself on a whim. Total winners all the way around. Who knew?? I'm in love with these vests. It's so hard for me to wear a real coat when I'm wearing a sweater, because I feel like I'm wearing a straight jacket. But the vests work great for this. They're roomy enough for a bulky sweater, warm (by Atlanta standards), and long enough to cover a bit of tush. They come in several colors and they're quite inexpensive in the current sale

Pants: I thought these two pair of Land End pants might be useful for my recent London trip. The Bi-Stretch ankle pants look and fit great. True, dark black. Very slimming. Wash well. No bagging out. The Starfish Slim Leg pants are slightly off-black, which makes them a bit less usable for me, given the number of true black tops I wear. However, I wore them back and forth to London. Felt like pajamas, yet they look great. They wash well too. These will be a great update to my loungewear capsule. Also super inexpensive in the current sale.

Handbags: My husband bought me the Furla Stacy in Sabbia Beige for my birthday. Amazing color...kinda gray, kinda taupe. Great size. Both handle and crossbody straps. The Gucci Jackie was a great surprise find. There was a designer bag resale shop right across the street from our hotel in London. There's new inventory coming in everyday, so of course I stopped in every day :-). The very last day of our stay, there she was.

Boden: The last time we were in London, I made my husband trek all the way out to the original Boden in a fairly sketchy area outside the city. Thank heavens there's now one on Kings Rd. The pink coat is fantastic. It's a warmer rather than cooler shade of pink. Fab buttons, nice pockets. Not too heavy. My normal size was perfect, even with a light sweater. I also picked up a couple new belts while I was there. I need another belt like I need a hole in my head, but I really liked the round gold buckles on these, so they came home with me.

Pictures:
1--My sweet husband. He's had an extraordinarily difficult year healthwise. The trip wasn't easy on him physically, but we had a wonderful time. Here's the Boden coat in action.

2--A basement and sub-basement level nightclub. I'm pretty sure we were the only two who weren't somehow connected to the Russian mob.

3--He was so happy to be away from the daily medical stuff, that he was even smiling while I was shopping.

4--The Furla bag in action last night.

5--The poor man. I made him pose for pictures everywhere.

6--The Cole Haan loafers and the LE Bi-Stretch pants

7--Travel outfit with the LE Starfish pants

8--Stunning handbag in Max Mara. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it was too big for my frame. Someone tall needs this bag. I couldn't do a find for it, but here's the link. https://us.maxmara.com/p-45160.....1h-tobacco

Hope that was helpful!
