Thanks so much, Guys! I have found many charity shops. I actually have found some great ones here in Canterbury, where we are now. I even found a tiny one in East Finchley near London when I went to see Mark Kermode's favourite cinema.
Laura (rhubarbgirl) - I went to Portobello Road! It was very cool, but unfortunately the on;y good thing I found was a tiny old fashioned key. Other things seemed too pricey and they seemed to specialise more in antiques than clothing. Or else they were vintage and too pricey.
