1, 5 for shape, 9, in that order. I feel your pain. I need to do this too.

I like 1 for shape and 8 for color. I always have trouble finding the pair that ticks every box. Best with it. You wear glasses well.

..Have you looked at Zenni.com? I just got some progressives from them and they seem fine. Lots of choices of colours and frames..

I would vote for 1 and 5, but find it very hard to judge glasses. I used to wear extremely pricey ones too, starting as a small child, until I needed cataract surgery and now my nearsightedness is cured and I only need cheap reading glasses! I mostly wore contact lenses in recent years so I didn't need multiple pairs. If glasses are your thing and they are pricey, my view is go ahead and invest, they are necessary for you to function in the world, and are part of your look every single day. Multiple pairs is a good thing.

the dreaded glasses shop...last time i updated i think it look me the better part of a year to find something I really liked...like you I wear progressives, so its expensive and time consuming so I want to make sure I get the right pair.

I like the tiffany pair #4, but if you don't love them, keep looking

@kkards - exactly! I do have insurance which covers a portion of the cost once every 2 years. Unfortunately, the prescription for my right eye has changed significantly and I want to have a pair of back-up glasses - so a bigger outlay. I’ll get new lenses for my 2 yr old pair that I love so much, and keep on searching for a new pair.

@ElizabethP - I’ve been offered discounts/deals at two places I visited, but first I have to find frames that are a ‘10’. I think great specs are a HEWI of the first order!

I really like your current pair. Of those you have tried I really like no 2 - great colors on you. The shape is also nice, but maybe tiny bit big - perhaps it is the selfie effect. I also like no 8 - very good color and the Versace gold and black look good too.

I love the green too and liked the shape? I also liked 6 as something totally different from your current ones (which also look fab). I'm not a good glasses picker though - it's so confusing; such subtle differences between pairs. I think a light tortoise shell would also look awesome on you.

Maybe I’m looking at this after you added #10, but I like them the best for shape and size of frame. After seeing #10, the others seem oversized to my eye.
