So my current specs are pretty old and boring, and seeing the great job Angie did picking out specs for San, I thought I'd have her pick some out for me!

We went to the same shop where San got hers (Market Optical in Seattle). They had a beautiful selection of high-end frames there, and a sweetheart of an optician. I basically stood in front of the mirror while Angie plucked out frames for me to try on. Angie gave me some good tips regarding the width of the frames, matching the frame to my eyebrows, etc.

The first pair she picked turned out to be the best! They are made by Bevel (excuse the sweaty face and hair :

Close-up of the frames (you can see they are red/orange on the inside. The outside is a taupey brown, darker than it looks in the photos because of the flash):

Another option were frames by Paul Smith, front view:

Once I get my prescription and insurance info sorted out, I'll be getting the Bevels. Pricey (the frames alone are $425), but considering they're something I will wear everyday, I think they are worth it!
