Shopping Confession

I just realized I have a secret shopping lust that I try to keep hidden because it is not very practical.
It happened when I was browsing trough the new Joe Fresh online shopping and saw this shoes.

My name is Cecilia and I am addicted to pink girly shoes. I have been abstaining from buying one pair since 2003 when I bought bubble pink mules.

Anybody wants to confess anything?

At this point, I can't think of anything that I should confess. But I always confess when I need to - coming clean is very important to me.

I can't think of a confession offhand except perhaps scarves. I am always drawn to scarves but I am no expert in wearing them!

Oh-h-h, Celia, those shoes are more orchid than pink. The lowness of the heel makes them pretty darn practical IMHO. No pink shoes for 11 years? And only $69? I sure hope you get them as I can really see you rocking them!

My confession is that I really need to put a time block on this site!

Sorry, but one pair in 14 years is not even close to an addiction. You NEED to buy these, for the reasons Donna F. wrote. On second thought, since you've bought no new pink shoes in 14 years, I think you should buy more than one pair this spring.

Those are adorable!

Personally, I don't think it's very practical to have only practical items in one's closet. I think it's more practical to have a handful of impractical ones too...especially if they're cute. :^)

One of my friends INSISTS that every woman should have a pair of pink shoes in their closet. She's a pretty smart friend. Just sayin' ...

My addictions are t-shirts, particularly navy blue and/or striped, and scarves to enable me to try all those colors I'm phobic of for clothing.

I cant see the shoe link (just land at a page telling me i am not in Canada) but i'd say go ahead and get one pair in pink and one in teal and one in black... Yes, duplicating in several colors is my shopping confession....

So glad I am not alone in this tricky shopping world.
It may seem that I haven't bought that many pink shoes but that is really because I do control myself (there had to be something I could control in my life).

Now that we are talking about it these shoes would look very cute with the Zara flower blazer from last year(the twin one to Suz's).

LOVE the pink shoes! My confession: I have an event coming up for which I am going to buy a dress (I do not need said dress, so that is confession #1), and the dress NEEDS a leather jacket to go with it. It really, really does. So I am pondering spending more on the jacket (that I don't need) than on the dress I don't need in the first place. In my defense, however, I have been on a shopping ban for a while and I have been successfully SMC for far longer than in the past.

Yesterday I put a striped-T, a faux wrap dress, and a pencil skirt in my cart ( really?)...but the fever passed, and they didn't make it to the change room!
