This may be old news but I’ve recently stumbled onto the fact that Zara includes measurements for the majority of their clothing items. When you select add to bag you are taken to the screen where you select your size - just beneath is “see measurements” and low and behold they’ve included the exact (and I mean exact) measurements for the item in each of the sizes offered. Sleeve length, chest, hip, rise etc.

In addition, above the size selection chart, Zara also has instances where they show what your measurements would need to approximate for each size. It’s clever and so much more helpful than the standard “the model is 5’10 and wears size 2”

I started wondering a while ago why I do better with fit purchasing items on eBay or Poshmark and the like and realized it’s because I can get the item measurements from the seller. Over the years I’ve learned having my measurements written down in my phone is really helpful, along with the measurements for some of my best fitting clothing.

Anyhow, I really hope this catches on to other retailers. It makes it easier to shop and I would imagine it would have to significantly reduce the amount of returns - something I do a lot of that I don’t feel good about.

I’ll step off my soapbox now.
