The last two weeks have been disturbing and distracting.
Today is blue on blue.
While checking on a Find, this pair of NYDJ pants popped up. I had them in my cart several months ago but couldn't justify buying them at full price or even 10% off. Now they are 60% off. How could I resist? The Halogen skirt was mentioned on a blog post--I'm not sure where--as a great item to have to dress up or down. Also 60% off. A long time ago I had a black lace skirt that could do double duty. I've got a photo wearing it on a cruise somewhere.
I wish the pants were a bit longer. The proportions don't seem quite right. I notice in the photo that the Paige top bought last fall looks a little big. I wish sizes were more consistent.
Should I hem and cuff the pants? Wear a shorter top.
Based on advice here that sandals wear out quicker as far as support, I found the same Clark's sandals as my red ones from 2 years ago--ordered April 25 from Zappos, they came 3 days ago. Wow--not like Zappos from the old days. They were on sale and sure enough, the soles are much more comfortable. I also bought them in red again.
And I'm wearing a cotton scarf for working outside and keeping the sun off my neck.
The lace skirt fits well, but I'll wait for another day to try it on again for you.
