I did it! I made it through June without shopping or spending on clothing/shoes for myself. Today was a planned shopping trip with a much larger budget than usual due to the non-shopping period. I decided to finally, FINALLY try on those Angie's pick SW gladiators (in black), and loved them! Insanely expensive for me, but going forward, I really want to start implementing the once-and-done idea, where I just buy the pricey item that I want instead of spending even more money and time buying inadequate, less expensive substitutes that don't measure up.
Bonus, though a little inconvenient: they're $100 cheaper at Zappos so I just placed an order. Will return the full-price pair to SW next week... I have to go to Nordstrom after NAS starts to get a price adjustment on something else I bought today.
ETA: pics! Now the hard part will be waiting for the Zappos pair to get here so I can start wearing these every day! CPW and all that, LOL.
