Shopbop Question ETA Question Answered!

I'm going to buy the AG Nikkis from Shopbop, and when I went to create an account, there was the option to login via my amazon prime account. Are there advantages to logging in one way or another? Will I be charged tax if I use my Amazon account?

With Amazon Prime, you would get free shipping. I'm not sure about the tax.

Where do you live? I live in Washington state. Last time I ordered from Shopbop they charged sales tax because they were owned by Amazon.

You will be charged tax depending on the State where you live. I went with my Amazon because the last thing I need is another user name and password.

I think the only advantage is that you'd get two-day shipping free (instead of three-day shipping free).

Shopbop started collecting tax a few years ago. I think it depends on the state you live in, I live in CA so of course we pay tax. If you live in a state where clothing isn't taxed, you don't pay tax.

Looking forward to seeing you in the Nikkis. If I didn't already have so much denim, I'd be ordering them too.

If Washington State does not collect sales tax and Shopbop charges the tax you should definitely call the vendor and get your tax money back. It's going to be over $20 that you do not want to pay if you don't have to.
I would pursue it until I got my money back if that was the case.
