Oh my this thread has me seriously considering about a half dozen new pairs of spring shoes! I'm being lured away from budget rationality by Topshop.. self: Step away from the computer!!

You're all making me sad that the Jeffrey Campbell booties I returned were too big

Haha. Yes, I am a shoe junkie. My shoe style choices are fairly broad, too.
Lisa, I do tend to wear funky shoes with more subdued outfits and vice versa but sometimes I revel in the maximalism and throw on bold shoes with a bold pattern or color blocking.
I need to post pics sometime of how I wear some of this stuff.
I love your style, it never looks contrived and always has great elevating details.
I am anxious to see what ends up making the cut for you.

I love the Everlane pumps and the Everlane Chelsea boots. I don't know anyone who has them but they look great and come in lots of colours.

I am saving up for a pair of Rachel Comey Mars Boots in Cognac.

ack...i coming back from vacation to a very very tempting collection of shoes!

anyway, what i am wearing....unfortunately still boots as we are unseasonable (at least for us) tempatures and had our biggest snow fall earlier this week....
what i hope to be wearing soon....oxfords, loafers and sneakers-i'm not over the trend, but i'm wearing more sneakers that are somewhere between a sneaker and a loafer...
what i'm going to experiment with mules...but not sure how to wear them with cropped or straight leg jeans.....

the Summit by White Mountain...these caught my eye last year, and i'm back to thinking about them...but they are probably are May to August shoes...
the 3 mules in the finds are in my "for consideration" list...

(FYI own the everlane street shoe & when they 1st came out tried and returned the loafer...i find that they run narrow....)

I have two pairs of her mules from the Elizabeth Suzann collection and LOVE them. The fit is true to size, and the leather is soft enough not to cause my very sensitive toes to hurt. The toe box is almond shaped, so not too pointy.

She is now offering mules on her site (before they were an ES exclusive style) with a very interesting heel. You get to pick the shoe style/leather combo that you'd like.

My only caution is that before you wear her shoes, you should bring them to a shoe repair shop for a non skid sole to be added. The slippery leather sole is treacherous otherwise.

What I wear for work may depend on the season and temperatures. Anything from nice sandals to loafers to chic boots. Never sneakers, though. And most days I'll wear ballet pumps/flats. I have several pairs, in various colours and fabrics. Just bought a new pair, in light grey suede with pom-pom-ish embellishments.

I'm wearing boots and sneakers and am looking forward to sandal season. I've added the four pairs of shoes this year that are shown below.

It was snowing this afternoon and very chilly, so I’m still wearing boots. But I wanted transitional boots like Jenn’s. The ones I had my eye on, Volatile Carmine in pewter, was out in my size everywhere I looked. I’ve ordered Jenn’s Seychelles in cognac.

ETA: I ordered Angie’s Naturalizer mules, but they don’t fit me very well.

Lisap, the loafers are white and I got them at The Bay. The 9 West store didn't carry the white!

To answer your question, I wear the Lucky brindle perforated booties with skinny pants I just show a small sliver of skin. Worn with black, army green, navy and cream skinny leg pants plus jeans , heck that’s my entire wardrobe colors lol. I find them very versatile, much more than I expected. The loafers I haven’t worn yet but I would wear with all of the above plus some of my summer skirts . I can’t picture me wearing them with dresses not sure why.
