No arguments from me -- they are adorable and the reviews are very favorable and I like that they didn't stick a one-piece rubber heel/sole on them (it always dresses flats down).

Just wondering if you'll get twice as much use out of two pairs, or will it just give you a break from wearing the same pair twice as much and wearing them out faster (that IS a valid reason to semi-duplicate!).

Sara, I'm thinking that the ballet flats have a dressier vibe than the (mary jane's?), giving me two different looks, even though they're both flats.

There is also a mid heel pump in this colour that would be good for going back to work next year.......I could end up on a roll here! This colour appears everywhere in my inspiration scrap-book, and has done for years, so I'm thinking of taking advantage of this sudden availability!

Just what Celia said. I'd only hesitate if you have another wardrobe hole that you need to fit instead. But they are so pretty, and they do have your name on them, in terms of color and style!

I think you would wear them differently and they suit your style to a "T".

Thanks, girls. The more I think about it, the more I've decided to go ahead. I am a SAHM, PT optometrist working with chldren, and my wardrobe needs range from casual to dressy casual, 95% of the time. Most of my clothes are subdued neutrals that will work well with the raspberry, and I think these will earn their keep in a very short time. Watch this space!

Well... how often do you wear your current raspberry flats -- does it seem like you reach for them every day and need another pair to rotate out? Do you always seem to find yourself dolled up in a dressy outfit, looking for that pop of raspberry, but end up disappointed because your current flats are too casual? Would a raspberry pump be more different/dressy instead?

I have several red-toned shoes and find that they go with a LOT of styles and colors that I wear. You won't regret it!

Also, is the raspberry more red or more pink?
I can justify you having 2 pairs, they have a different vibe and you will get plenty of use out of both.

They are lovely and quite a different vibe, as everyone has said. No issues there!

The only caution I'd have is that I tend to get obsessed with a color, buy it in megadoses, and then regret it. I am wishing I had more than just black and brown summer shoes right now. Is there another bright color you could add to your shoe collection?

Thx, girls, and I welcome all shoe twins/triplets! It's strange that these are only in the UK at the moment - I couldn't find anything similar on Zappo's. If I proceed with my buying frenzy, I am sure Clarks will release them globally!

Polly, if you have a wider foot these are divine. They're a D fitting without being clumpy....and Joy, I like your thinking! What self-respecting returning to work mum would be without raspberry pumps :)?

Una, I have loved this colour forever. I have it in lipstick, a scarf, a shirt, a bag....I'm not worried about tiring of it anytime soon. But thx for the sound advice!
