I went through that box of shoes that I'd forgotten about. I am finding I am still on the fence about a few of these, which I've noted below. Let me know what you think.
All the shoes are in this album:

... and they are all size 6. Most are barely worn or gently worn.
One by one...
1. Animal print mules

These are super-comfortable - like wearing bedroom slippers (which incidentally means zero support - if you need support, these are not for you). I just don't wear them all that often. I find they are awkward - if it's warm enough to go sockless, then why would I want a furry animal print? But maybe I am just not opening my mind up to the right possibilities, hence I am on the fence and could go either way with these.
2. Loafers
I have three pairs. On the plus side, I can wear socks with them, which you can't do with ballet flats. And all three of these are quite comfortable (8+ hour) shoes. On the negative, I often feel clunky and unfashionable in these. But I do wonder if I should keep a pair around? Hmm.
The brown ones have seen better days and maybe I should donate (got these at Target). The tan ones (Aerosles) - I never know what to wear with these, other than khakis. Nowadays I'd opt for ballet flats instead. I am willing to swap these because I know I didn't wear them much in the past, and won't wear them in the future. They are very comfy and forgiving for a wider foot. (FYI, my foot isn't technically a Wide width foot; I'm a regular width who can sometimes fit in a wide width, if that makes sense.)
The black ones (Seusto Meucci) might be worth keeping, but I find I wear black shoes less and less because they aren't as interesting. These also have seen lots of wear in the past but they have held up beautifully. Really well-made shoes. And they are warm in cold winter months, because the heel is thick. Hmm... maybe I should keep these?
3. "Fashion" Sneaks. (That's put in quotes because one of these pairs probably qualifies more as gear).
The tan ones I bought on a trip when I discovered all the other shoes I packed weren't comfortable for site-seeing. I haven't worn them much since, but they are comfortable. I just don't like wearing sneaks sockless, and with this sort of shoe you can't really wear a sock.
The black ones are... well, black. Also they are a tad too short for my toes so not as comfortable. The pink ones are also a tad tight; I like them the most of the three (and they have the most wear) but the reality is I never know what to wear with them, since I don't wear a lot of pastels.
4. Joan & David patent flats:
Happy to give these away; they just aren't comfortable for my foot. If you have a more narrow foot, especially at the toes, and no bunions, you may love these. They are cute.
5. Red suede slides:

These are up for swap. Nothing wrong with them - just not really my style anymore.
6. My Good Housekeeping Mules:

I used to wear these quite a bit, but they are still in fair condition. They are Seusto Meucci which is a great brand because they hold up forever. It's hard to part with them because they make me smile. But, I'm ready to give them up to a good home. Somebody with a sense of humor and/or who has an appreciation for vintage or kitsch
8. Strappy Ann Taylor heels:

Lovely shoes - but kill my feet.
9. Clark's

My mom bought these for me, and I don't find them comfortable at all, so I've never worn them out of the house. Maybe someone else will? There's only one in the pic because I don't know where the other one is - it's probably still under the bed with the dust bunnies!!!
I am hoping that whoever wants to swap will take more than one pair, so that will make it easier on me in the shipping department! In return I'm pretty flexible but I will say that I'm very interested in accessories at the moment: necklaces, scarves, purses, statement rings, earrings, etc. I also suspect that will be easier than guessing whether clothes will fit me.
