My shoe collection is pretty much flats and more flats. I've been feeling the need for more of a heel to wear with jeans and yet to be acquired slacks. The teal Biala oxfords Angie posted are very tempting - that color would be enough of a neutral wouldn't it? I've seen a couple of Fitzwell oxfords with 2 1/2" heels I like too, although one is a little dressier than the other and between those two I'm leaning toward the one with the studs. My tops seem to be heading toward navy, purple, teal, black and burgundy. Would one color be more all purpose than the other? Comfort is a factor too. My black boots have about a 2" heel which isn't bad for running around, but I wouldn't wear them for a marathon shopping day. My feet aren't particularly finicky, but I am used to flats.
