This is my first time starting a thread here, so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong!
I was out today trying to replace my leopard flats, which I had loved to death. (I am here to tell you, I had no idea how many outfits look better with a pair of leopard flats.). At Macy's I didn't see any, but I saw a cute pair of Ann Klein spectator flats that I thought might work for Spring. I told the saleswoman that I was also looking for leopard flats.
She came back with just the spectators, but then a few minutes later another saleswoman came out with a pair of Michael Kors leopard flats a half size bigger than I normally wear. I tried them on and they fit and were cute so I decided to definitely get the spectators, which had won my heart and were $69, and ask what the leopard ones cost.
OK, here's the deal: the shoes were marked down to $30. Macy's was running a special where you got 25% off if you bought two or more pairs of shoes. So, since I was going to buy the others anyway: I got a $120 pair of shoes for $5.25.
I'm happy! I also bought a black and pink striped tank with a pink bow at Nordstrom, and II think with it and my new spectators I can rock a Chanel look.....
