This isn't fixable, right? I'm thinking even if the heel could be reattached there's nothing that can be done about the tear in the suede.
I've had a pair of backup shoes in my office since 2001 - this is actually the first time I've needed them. I hope Angie will excuse the PPL violation under the circumstances!
