Based on favorable reviews here on this sneaker, I ordered Caslon Andes grey granite color size 8, from Nordstrom. I’ll be returning them. Pros: nice color, well-made appearance with nice even stitching, cute platform style, seems to have nice cushioning, wide enough. Cons: limited flexibility of all parts/materials, short in the toes for my standard size and presses down on my big toe, no room in the toe box, flimsy laces, absolutely no arch support.
I’ll continue to look for some sneaker styles which will be warmer and a little more water tolerable than my cotton Converse sneakers.
