I'm at target and they have my pumps in red. I know these pumps, I have them in two colors. They are great shoes, esp for the price. I just got rid of a pair of uncomfortable red pumps. So.... Are these worth breaking syb for? Does everyone need a pair of red pumps? Or have we moved on??

Red pumps are a neutral, aren't they? Plus, I'm pretty sure they are a good price, since you are at Target and you already know you like them... (did that help?) lol

I am also going to be a horrible enabler and say get them I have a very similar pair (mine is peep-toe) and they are my go-to shoes when going out.

Are they comfortable? I've had so much bad luck with synthetic patent shoes, they chafe my feet so badly.
ETA: I realize I worded my question so badly. What I meant to ask is if you own them in patent?

Finding shoes that fit well and area comfortable is not easy. If you already have two pair of them and they work for you, I would say buy them. I find red shoes work with almost anything.

Something doesn't have to be expensive to be "fab for you"! If your feet already know and like these shoes, I'd get them and bring them home to think about whether or not you'd still wear them as much as you would have in the past. When the shoe fever passes, you can always return them and still be on track. They would look MIGHTY fine with Dotty. Just sayin'.

I already have the same ones in other colors so i know they work for me... I just have to figure out if I have moved on.

I'm of two thoughts: you know they work for you in terms of comfort, your size is difficult to find, and everybody needs a little red shoe!

But...I remember on a post not too long ago where you had mentioned you were kind of over pumps.

I say leave them at Tar-jay... They are cute and the price is right, but not special enough to break SYC and when you're off SYC I'm sure there'll be other red pumps (if you haven't moved on!)

If you like them and they have worked for you, get! A pair from any other store would likely be much more. Think of all they $$ you are saving

Great looking (and feeling) shoes are hard to come by. If you know you love them, why not? The price won't break the bank, the cost per wear would be SO LOW, and can we just say...red pumps? Go!

Is the question "have I moved on from pumps" or "have I moved on from red shoes"? I think it matters.

Are you not wearing pumps? Feeling they are not your current style? I find this to be a pretty classic style. The color acts as a neutral and the style can be worn with something edgy, trendy or more classic. They are versatile, a great color and you know they work well for you...I would have trouble not buying them give. They seem to tick all the boxes.

Go for it! Target shoes can be winners for me as well. I have some really cute sandals from them. I think I will swing by my local store and try these on, too!

My gut says Nay; but I vote wait a week. If you still want them and they are still there, buy. It's too easy to buy the same thing in different colours. Variety!

Angie - they fit fine, they are not painful for me like the others that I just got rid of. Probably the best pumps I've found for my wide little fussy feet. I'm just wondering if I'm done with red pumps. Are they too cutesy, betty boop style for me? My style leans toward bombshell anyway, but would these push it over into costume territory? Red pumps are classic, I feel like I *should* have a pair, but I'm just not sure if they are too much shoe.

If you know these shoes and you like them, I want to say yes for you, but Elisabeth asks a question about whether you are over red pumps or red shoes in general. Do you prefer patent to leather? Would leather have more seasonal legs? Red IS a neutral and you can't go wrong with it, but make sure it's a good reason to break SYB.
