When I posted my shoe comparison last week, a couple of you suggested the black Okalas would work better. Voila! (The first two skirts are identical except for the stripes.) What do you think? Does the black strap cut me off too much? Also, is the side tuck worth repeating?
I had to wear black and white for choir, but I knew I didn't want to trudge around Farmer's Market in pumps and polyester, so I tucked my Birks and a tee into my tote. I'm not sure the skirt would be my first choice for a casual afternoon, but the outfit was comfy!
There are so many articles on how to take an outfit from day into evening, but Rachy and I have been saying that we need the opposite--how to take dressed-up to casual! So we're going to be posting our ideas on this occasionally. (Right, Rachy?)
