Shoe color advice!

I've been eyeing these shoes for a while now but haven't taken the plunge and now they are on sale. I just can't decide what color to try if I go for it, but I like the green and yellow more than the black.

OR, if you own something similar in a green or yellow that you know is really comfy, I'd love to know. Heel doesn't have to be as high! Thanks!

I vote yellow. this is wear I often make a color statement. I am in search of butter color shoes myself:) I think yellow is really versatile, and I don't have any...yet:)

I think yellow shoes are a color statement too, you don't see them very often and these ones have a good, clean lemony tone.

I like both the green and yellow... but I'm going to be a rebel and vote for the green. Such a fresh and different color! You see more yellow shoes than green shoes, IMO.

I like both green and yellow and really can't decide. I'm no help.

What I really want to know is why these shoes come in only whole sizes except 9.5? Is there some sort of mystical Illuminati connection to shoes now or is 9.5 a really popular half size?

DressLover, I just don't know. I keep meaning to email to ask as they have great customer service. I have two pairs of Lilybee shoes in 9's, but one would definitely be better in 8.5.

I have yellow flats, but nothing with a heel. I do have green peeptoes (same brand) but they are a really deep patent and totally different from these.

I vote mustard yellow. You can rock them with blue, gray, or black, for a nice pop of color. And these are saturated in color, which is great.

I vote for the green, they look like the right shade of green to act as a nice neutral to almost any outfit.

Another vote for yellow. I love yellow, especially for summer. Look at what you intend to wear these with and see which would match more things.

Don't you just love the Lilybees? I longed for the Reese shoes with the grosgrain ribbon bows for almost a year, but they never restocked them in my size. I'm tempted to snag that last pair of Hillary shoes and try to stretch them to make them fit, but I know this is not a smart idea.

Frances, I do! I loved the pair you are talking about. I find that she does interesting designs for a somewhat reasonable price, especially compared to the brands she carries! I LOVE the Hillarys...if they don't work you can always return them!

I have the Haydens in a Raspberry color (called something different but same shoe.) Did you ever see those dark green patent peep toes with the multi-colored stacked heel? I wanted those forever and finally got them and love them.

Rosie, it's a good thing Kassie Rempel doesn't have a store in the Bay Area, because I'm starting to yearn for almost everything on the Simply Soles website, especially with the Memorial Day weekend sales. She really has a well curated collection, and I especially love her "What to Wear Wednesday" emails.

Me, too! Next time I get out to DC I will have to stop in there. Her emails are great. I'm really impressed and pleased with her as a business owner, so I do like buying from them. She runs a very personal business.
