Hi Shiny!
I hope you're resting and starting to feel better! I've enjoyed all your posts today.
I had a quick question about washing silk stuff (today is laundry day). I have a few silk items that are getting kind of dingy and just look like they could use a good, gentle, washing. Lauren, my J. Crew personal shopper has the Elizabeth halter like I do, and she said she has washed hers in the washer and it came out great. I thought I remembered you saying something about how you wash some silk items as well. I have this top (actually, I have 2 duplicates of it):

And it has a silk organza overlay, which the dry cleaners ironed and it became kind of shiny (which is why I haven't been back and my shirts are now dingy). Do you think this is something I could hand wash? The underlay is the same material as the Elizabeth halter, so I think that would come out fine. It's the organza part that I'm unsure of. The tag says, "Dry Clean" and not "Dry Clean Only" if that makes a difference or not.
Thank you!
