Shapewear recommendation...

I got this bodysuit thing to help things fit better at work. However it arrived too late and I had given up with dressing in anything but loose clothing at that point. I tried it on today as I'll be going back to work and want some support (even though I know my guts aren't going to spill out, I feel more secure with some containment). Well, it's as fantastic as the reviews say. Comfortable and smoothing without crushing you to death, and pretty to boot. It's not the MOST compressing you can get from shapewear but still remarkably effective.

Thank you for the recommendation. Great timing for me as I was just looking at shape wear. I'm not one to wear it usually because I just can't handle the constriction. I've gained some love in the tummy lately and was looking for something with just a little support. I was looking at tank top (like the one in my finds). But I'll look into yours also.

OK, this is the first piece of shapewear that I've ever found to be pretty! I'm not generally one for shapewear because I hate pressure around my midsection but I do have a couple of fancy dresses that could benefit from it, and this one doesn't look too squishing. Is the lace part pretty smooth?

Thanks for this, I may need this soon. (I did read that after surgery you may need support.) It's also a great idea for summer dressy dresses when I don't want to wear panty hose. I do really like the lace detail too.

ETA how does the size run? I'm just going to order it, it's not available at my store.

Back in the day I wore control top pantyhose. I liked the gentle firming. I weighed a lot less then, and now it seems laughable that I thought I needed it. I guess no one wears pantyhose anymore, which is too bad. I'm glad your shapewear is comfortable. I wonder how hot it is?

I can't handle any constriction, either. Any recs for someone like me who suffers from chronic pain?

It is TTS - I got a S and it's perfect. It's more smoothing and light compression than heavy duty Spanx but that is what I wanted. Not a lot of constriction yet works somehow.

Diana, the lace is very smooth and not binding so doesn't cause thigh lumpage. Read the reviews - that's why I bit!

Lovely bodysuit! Let me know how it goes when you, um, need to "go." That's my only concern about a onesie!

Shapewear is going to be restrictive and have some degree of compression . If you don't care for that , then shape wear is not for you. It's not guaranteed to be comfortable. It's not really the point. .

I can't handle conscriction either, it can make me feel physically sick. But I do have the tanks that AviaMariah posted and I like them (Yummie Tummie). They smooth the middle section just enough without being really tight. And they feel cottony instead of nylon-y which I find more comfortable for hot flashes. The only disadvantage for me is they don't come in a petite so I get excess fabric around the waist.

Una, how is the creep factor? That is ALWAYS my issue with undergarments (sorry for TMI) and a dealbreaker. Hoping for good news.

Viva, I haven't yet worn them all day. Straps are adjustable so you don't have upward pull/wedgie situation. I didn't see anyone mention a problem in the reviews (I read a lot of them).

My main issue with tanks is that they roll up no matter what I do.
