Lisa - Welcome to team wear. God forbid you're hit by a bus before you get to wear all of your goodies. Enjoy them often and as soon as possible.
My mother made me save my clothes for special occasions (i.e. company or visiting) when I was little. Now I fully embrace and DH says it with me all the time: "I do not live in a museum!" Everything I own is for my personal use and enjoyment, not merely to impress company.
Suz - I haven't even gotten to layering and integrating it into the rest of my wardrobe -- not that it'll be hard. I liked how flexible it is and seems to straddle the line nicely between casual and dress. I do have a lovely green skirt I'm itching to wear it with among other things. There's a mental capsule forming around this skirt already.
Also I think they would work well as house shoes too they're so comfy and don't make noise on the floors.
Beth Ann -- Do you know I did not take these shoes off until 2 hours before bed? I had them on at least 14 hours and I prefer bare feet. I cannot get over how comfortable they are. I was trying to work them into today's outfit, but I'm going to class and I wanted something a little more polished. Perhaps that will be my challenge trying to create a business casual outfit around these crocs for next week's class.
Firecracker - yep, I love the new specs though they aren't so new any more I have had them since November of last year. I almost got them in black then I saw on line that they came in white and I had to have them. I need them to reduce glare, eye/neck strain, and keep my weaker left eye from "floating". So I don't have a strong prescription, but it is complex because I have prisms.
Thistle -- Yeah, there is something wrong with buying swimwear in Jan/Feb. I'd rather ease into spring than think about a body baring suit so soon after the holidays. But you're right if you don't get them when they first come out you'll end up with one that's just functional and brings you no joy.
