I'm really struggling styling my Shabby Apple skirt. I believe I've learned a bit of lesson in that if something is THIS difficult to work with, maybe it's not right in your wardrobe. That having been said, IT IS in my wardrobe so I'm trying to make it work.
Here are some options - let me know what you think (good, bad or otherwise).
Pic #1 - with chambray shirt. The shirt is too bulky to tuck underneath the skirt but I'm not sure it works untucked either.
(please ignore the "bed head" and complete lack of make up)
Pic #2 - with a yellow tee I picked up today at thrifting for $1.50 (it's the perfect yellow). Trying for a column of colour and it does allow me to tuck. I've topped with my magenta blazer as the skirt does have magenta leaves in it.
Pic #3 - still with the yellow tee but now with my dark blue denim jacket and flats.
Pic #4 - dark denim short sleeved fitted shirt belted with Boutique 9 shoes.
Pic #5 - brown polka dot blouse with pink cropped jacket (maybe if I added a skinny belt)?
Pic #6/7 - with yellow tee and white denim jacket.
Pic #8 - tee tucked into skirt with belt.
Pic #9 - with BB shirt and belt.
Any and all suggestions welcome.
