I made an unscheduled stop at Hillsdale (San Mateo) today and what to my wondering eyes did appear but a lot of signs about the new Uniqlo store which apparently opened on the 11th. I know that there was some talk about the store at Santana Row so just a heads up.

I stopped in but was underwhelmed. Store was half fleece and down jackets (who except skiers needs a down jacket around here anyway) and everything else was very basic. Not what I remembered from my visits to stores in other areas a few years ago. Hopefully it'll get better.
