I've been thinking that for over a year. I liked their skirts and dresses and some tops a few years ago but then they changed the cut and the sizing went out the window. It makes me wonder who they are targeting with their marketing (how poetic I get when trying not to end a sentence with a preposition).
I went into a BR in SF in March and there was absolutely nothing I was interested in. The colors were awful, really not flattering against my pale 53-year old face. Menswear is another matter. My niece is a stylist for TV commercials and she buys a lot of menswear from BR for the shoots. My boyfriend got some great shirts there last fall.
Um, no. Just no. Just because it's based on a 1920s version I will never pay over $200 for a shirt that I can find for $12 at the local farm store when I go to get baby chicks in the spring.
Good grief! Can't you just go to Penny's or Sears and buy one and if necessary have it altered? If I'm going to spend almost $300 for an item it is not going to be a work shirt.
