Yes, I went shopping.
I have been struggling with how to wear jackets ( which I love) in Brisbane, which doesn't really get very cold for most of the year, although mornings and evenings can be cool.
I finally realized that if I wore short sleeves for most of the year, I can just wear a jacket on top. I know this is obvious. I know I should have worked this out 10 years ago. I know this is all about buying clothes for your dominant season. For some reason it's only just clicked!
Anyway, I used this epiphany today when shopping. I bought two short sleeved tops and a jacket. One of my style goals thus season was to buy some bright pieces. This is a very bright emerald green, but I loved the 1940s vibe. I think the style makes it less versatile, but I just loved the shape.
Did I do OK?
