What I wore during the second third of Septmber was influenced by the weather, and by activities. The summer heatwave continued, and I spent 3 days doing some big gardening (moving dirt, dividing and replanting perennials). Interestingly I cycled through 23 items - the same number as the first 10 days of the month! They consisted of 6 bottoms, 7 tops, 1 topper, 7 shoes, 2 bags.

Outfit changes during the day is the norm for me, as is wearing items a couple of times before putting them in the wash. As expected, the workhorses were white jeans (3 days), and olive shorts (2 days). I have 2 mariner shirts with white stripes on dark blue - each worn twice. Shoes/sandals get switched around a lot, but I did cronicle 5 wears for the white sneakers.

It was too hot to wear a topper or scarf, though I did wear the Ikat jean jacket for bridge night (A/C.) I used a navy leather clutch twice, but otherwise the love affair with the new (thrifted) Coach bag continues.

To answer some of Jenn's discussion points - I am tapping in to about 1/4 of my total wardrobe (not counting fitness kit). With temps in the 30degC range outerwear, toppers, and sweaters were obviously not on my radar. I had no need of dipping into dressy clothes, but I did pull out my ugly boots and grubby tank tops for gardening. Still not feeling black! I did not reach for button downs and had to make a conscious effort to pull one out. Once I did, I wore it twice.

I suspect I will be changing things up somewhat the last third of the month since after tomorrow (another 30+degC day) we are supposed to see cooler temps and some rain.

Below a few pics from the week including 2 pics previously posted as WIWs (#4 and #5) and bonus pic of MY ugly boots used for gardening and other dirty outdoor activities(#6).

Thanks for looking!
