Wide ranging weather temperatures and a 7 day trip influenced what I wore during the first 1/3 of the month. 23 items - 5 bottoms, 8 tops, 3 toppers, 4 pair shoes, 2 scarves and a bathing suit. I did add and subtract items over the day, and sometimes had a complete change of clothes (or two) over the course of a day.

Olive green shorts and white jeans (2 different pair) were the MVP's with 4 wears each. Cropped (blue) jeans worn twice and navy shorts worn once. (The jeans were worn in the pm around a campfire and got quite smokey!)

A black floral T, navy and white mariner, and black and white cotton sweater each saw 2 wears while the pink lace tank, green t-shirt, navy floral button down, lavender sweater, and RELAX statement sweater were each worn one time.

A silky black bomber was worn 3 times and an Ikat jean jacket was worn twice. A black and grey hoody was worn twice for chilly nights around the campfire (with the jeans mentioned above.)

I switched shoes a lot so it was hard to keep track. The black sneakers saw the most miles (at least 5 occaisions) and the white loafers were worn for 3 full travel days. The silver sandals saw wear in the am and pm almost every day. Silver sneakers were worn 2 full days.

I'm not going to count gym clothes - because they are all older and well worn. I did get out my bikini and it was worn 3 times.

I haven't worn scarves all summer, but was glad I packed 2 for the trip. I used one or the other almost every day. Cool evenings and A/C in the car and in restaurants really bothered my neck. The scarves made a huge difference in comfort.

Unexpected bonus: A new leather Coach bag thrifted at the end of August is a real pleasure to use - not a heavy bag, it was the perfect size to carry my stuff, and it has a nice, comfortable wide strap for over the shoulder or dangling from my hand.

Not a lot of pics from the trip, but indicative of WIW.

(No analysis yet. I'm still processing the trip!)
