I'm very much a beginner knitter. I can knit, purl and do stockinette stitch on straight sticks. I've only made scarves so far.
I bought some gorgeous merino wool in Australia (8 ply but thin, uses 4 mm or #6 needles). I would like to make a cowl.
Does this look like a complicated pattern?
