Semi-fitted BF blazer

Ok, one of my coworkers came in yesterday in a KILLER bf blazer and now I want one. I love my slouchy one but I'm on the prowl for one that is more fitted. Not SUPER fitted and body conscious, but just a bit more body skimming and less boxy. I asked her where she got hers but it is apparently from last season and probably not available anymore. Anyone?

Oh, Lisa, that looks like a great summer blazer when a white jean jacket is too warm. Thanks for posting it.
Maya, I know you don't like secondhand shops, but I've had great luck finding fitted blazers there, although they are usually long, not cropped.

Lisa - I guess I'm confused about boyfriend blazers. That one looks like a regular blazer to me, although they clearly call it "boyfriend." Can anyone explain what makes it "boyfriend?" Thanks!

Yeah, that looked like a regular blazer to me too. I'm talking about longer length. Below the bum on me, probably mid-bum on most regular height people. Also the crinkling is too casual for my purposes. I want something more dressy. Like this, but not $695:

Yeah but I thought perhaps it is location specific...so the selection in Seattle comes from stores in neighboring towns, and therefore the stock might differ based on what sells in those stores.

Maya, I vote hold off on the BF jacket and get yourself a strong shouldered jacket instead. Big bossy Angie here.

Maya - don't laught but would this jacket from Walmart work? There was some discussion the other night on the forum about some of these Norma Kamali pieces at Walmart - I ordered the jacket myself but it has not gotten here.

Per my usual late adapter self, I'm now totally wanting the BF blazer (after last Fall's interest but not sure how to integrate) and want what you've described. I'm hoping this NK from Wally World will work.

It's $20 but the reviews say it looks a lot more expensive. We will see when it gets here. Maybe this will work for you if the Rack does not?

I'm dying...ACHING for that Warehouse jacket featured on today's blog post. If anyone has an Asos code (that works on US orders), please share. I don't think it will be nearly enough, but anything would help...

I love the Whistles one too. Probably even more. But it is just so far outside my budget that it will never happen. I'll just have to steal it from Ele.

Well, until big bossy Angie finds a budget suggestion, I'll have to go for the BF blazer instead. Much easier to find at the moment, and I'm sure we'll see more strong shoulder jackets creep in once fall collections are in full swing.

I also keep seeing an ad right here on this page for the Spiegel BF Blazer starting at $59. Spiegel stuff seems to be okay quality right? (does anyone know?)
