Angie, Jenn, and Jenni NZ, thanks for chiming in! You’ve all mentioned the fit of the sparkly ones; would a bigger size take care of the issue? The others look more supportive, but they are not. Either pair would be adequate for my podiatric (and leg, lower back, etc) health.
Jenn nailed it in terms of what I’m looking for—playful! I think I also want some kind of sparkle or bling, a color that will not stand out against my skin, and absolutely no thong thingie between my toes. Oh, to live near internationally-known beaches with their string of surf shops!
I didn’t even try on the ones in the first pic on the original post, because I was tired of shopping. Maybe I should. These two together in pic 1 here are the ones I ordered & didn’t like. I do like the pair in pic 2 here, but they are far too small; bigger sizes are sold out.
