I've also been kicking around the idea of a pair of cowboy boots. You don't actually see them too often here in Austin, but when you do, they are often worn in a casual yet stylish way.
Allen's Boots is a local store here in town (it's like a cowboy boot emporium, it's huge), and they have a great website. Their selection is large, with a wide range of price points. I thought I would recommend it in case you are in the market for some new cowboy boots:

My only complaint is that some boots listed on the site are out of stock. I think they do this because they sometimes get the boots back in stock at some point. If you see something you like, you could probably call the store and see what they could do for you.
