Hi Michelle! I was your Secret Santa. I had so much fun getting to know you by shopping for you. I wish you lived closer because I can tell we'd get along so well!

Okay, girls! Good things come to those who wait, right? Well, I am changing that old maxim to GREAT THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT!!!

The Post Office and I finally came to terms, and I have my Secret Santa gift!!!!

And guess who has a gorgeous, new clutch for New Year's Eve!?!

The clutch is a shimmery graphite, with a silver frame. It is GORGEOUS!!!!

I also received some aromatic chocolate tea!! And a lovely tea ball with a tiny little orange slice fob!!! (I love the orange slice detail!!!)

Michelle is my SS (I know due to custom paperwork and the earlier post). Michelle, I already knew from your WIW and your posts that you are beautiful through and through! This exquisite gift and your generosity have made my holiday even happier!

When I ring in the New Year with friends, I will think of my friend in Toronto, too! <3

My apologies for the postal delay. It was worth the wait, friend!!!

Happy Holidays to Everyone!!!!

I have truly enjoyed following this thread. Amazing and so fun!

So fun to see all these! I'm crossing my fingers that the postman brings me something today.

YAAAAAY!!! Heather, I did a little dance in my office chair when I saw that the package had *finally* been "successfully delivered." Delivery may or may not include withholding the package and failing to actually deliver it, but hey. :p I'm so glad you like the clutch, and I do hope you enjoy the tea!

Amy, I am totally charmed by your gift and introductory cd -- you must pull a Kari and come to TO some day!

Shopping for Rita was WAY more fun than shopping for certain other people on my list. I can't wait for next year's draw!

Still haven't received my gift, and neither has my giftee... hope we will soon!

Laurel, I haven't received mine yet either. Maybe our post offices are overwhelmed?

I still don't know who my secret santa is.Did I miss it? Please Santa, reveal yourself!

Thank you Isis (HUGS)!!! Every night, I plan to wear the necklace but I've been so slammed, I forget about it every morning. I will post pictures when I do.

Janet, Laurel, my giftee hasn't received her gift yet either I feel terrible. I was hoping she would get it in time for Christmas at least.

Michelle, I have always wanted to see Toronto. That would be so much fun!

Just chiming in to say that this thread is knocking my socks off!!! Amazing, thoughtful, kind, creative - you go girls!

FIONA! Oh my, it's so lovely! Today when I got home there was a thin envelope in the mail from at etsy shop, baroqueandroll (the name is awesome, by itself!) and inside was a lovely feather brooch! HOW DID YOU KNOW!?! I have been wanting a feather fascinator/brooch for at least a year, but never got one, and I love that this one is natural colors, not dyed feathers.. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!

and also, when you get your gift, you will see the delicious irony/shared theme of our presents to each other!

I so hope you get yours soon!

MERRY HAPPY EVERYBODY!!

I've been away from home all week visiting my mother. I returned last night to a wonderful surprise: in my absence, Santa had arrived! And just LOOK at the goodies!

My generous Santa devoted her precious time and thought to make me a wonderful, personal calendar using a montage of images of my recent style. Isn't that amazing? I was SO touched by your generosity. But guess what? Hubby loved it so much that he immediately STOLE it and put it in his study!!! (I may get it back from him but we are going to enter negotiations after a glass of wine this evening, LOL!)

I ALSO got a scarf of many colours. This is a lovely addition to my closet. I have mostly cool colours in my wardrobe, but this scarf is fiery warm. It allows me to safely play with those warm tones without overwhelming me. It will play beautifully with my cognac boots and my yellow shoes as the weather gets a bit warmer. And as hubby said, it is super cheerful on a grey day like today. So thank you, thank you, Secret Santa!!

(I have to confess...even though I know I should know, I'm still trying to puzzle out your identity. Wracking my brains for past posts for my new scarf twin!)

Like Ana, I'm enjoying this thread and hope to participate next year! I love reading about the anticipation of it all and then seeing the gifts "unwrapped." Great idea, Ornella!

OMG, it's YOU!!!!!

That's who I THOUGHT it was, but then my hubby said the return address was CT rather than CA!!! So I was completely flummoxed and thought I had missed someone else's scarf post. I should have known you would gift me with brilliant colour. Oh, MaryK, THANK YOU!!!

Squeeeeeee!!!!!!!

I'm really enjoying all the reveals. Some wonderful and very thoughtful and creative gifts here!

Fun to see all of the gifts!

Unfortunately, nothing has arrived for me. I haven't heard anything from my Secret Santa through elfster so I'm not sure whether there might have been a delivery snafu.

Yay Laurel, I am so glad that you liked it. I was also smitten with the Etsy seller's name!

I also have something that I bought for you in NZ, but I haven't quite made it to the post office yet - but will do so tomorrow.

I think that we have more public holidays in New Zealand than you do in the USA, so I am sure that once normal postal service starts again your return gift will show up - I can't wait to see why you say what we have picked for each other is similar!

My present arrived yesterday! I was at work so I had to go to the post office today to fetch it. Guess who was responsible for the delay? Yay, customs! The package had a lovely little green label of Hamburg harbour customs.

The delay didn't matter, I was soo exited to open my present! It was wonderful! I got a beautiful written christmas card, a lovely ring and an amazing bracelet! Both are in my favourite colours - blue, green, turquoise, white and silver - and will go with so much in my wardrobe. You'll definitely see me wear them often! I added some pictures below to share these thoughtful gifts with you.

Oh and I'm guessing my Secret Santa was Vani! Thanks for the present, even if it was late - shame on German customs. The contents more than made up for the wait!

Fi! Oh my. I have seriously been checking this thread every day, I'm on super pins and needles to see if you absolutely love what i got you... one can only hope so. We'll see.

Also, is it cheeper to send things to Oz? I'm going to Australia in February (FIRST TIME, EEEEE!!!) to visit visit a friend, so you could mail it there if you want to. Let me know!

*Doing very, very happy dance*
Astrid, you are right, I was your SS! I had so much fun shopping for you and was feeling bitterly let down by the postal service industry that you were left hanging without a gift! I even had niggling doubts about my German address writing skills.
So, I headed to the mall yesterday to pick out something for you and By Jove you were going it get it this time, I was going to make sure, LOL! I came back empty handed and was going to make another trip today. I am glad you liked the bracelet and the ring and hopefully they will work out well with your wardrobe. Hopefully, I will get to see you wearing them

Thank you again, Vani! I'm glad this one arrived. I know the feel when you second guess your adress writing skills, it happenend to me once and let's just say the story didn't end as successful as this one! I think both items will work very well, you totally hit the nail on the head - and I already wore the bracelet today! I'm going to go and post some WIW pics now.

It arrived! Thank you do much Laurel! I love Liberty prints and I love scarves! Plus i don't have a square scarf so it will be a good style challenge learning how to style it.

Also, you will need gift two for your trip!
