Have my wallet today looking at other stuff

I already own leather pants (jeans style), leather leggings, and leather panelled leggings(leather is a wide stripe down the side). Am I being redundant?

I dont think you would be...looks like a unique design to me. Sounds like you wear a lot of leather, so you'd probably get a lot of use from it

I could never pull those off, but I instantly thought of you when I saw them...I don't think its redundant, as long as its something you see yourself wearing for awhile, regardless of whether leather falls out of fashion...

They have similar moto-pant styling as your leggings, though much more distinctive. These seem more black jean than leather though, so I think it'd be a matter of redundancy in regards to your jeans. They definitely fit you style, and are pretty sweet looking. How are you on the black jean front?

Well I took the plunge and ordered them. Will post photos for final verdict. Shopbop has free returns. I do have some faded black skinnies and black jeggings.

I think it depends on whether you want a strongly-edited closet or not. If more is more, then these are different enough to have a place. If there's a part of you that wants to edit or to wear what you have more often, then you should think about how many outfits you could put together (or do better) with these rather than your other options. That said, I like them, but I'm not sure, given the options you already have, how often these would get worn. If that's not a problem, then by all means.
