Seattle visit: for Angie & Inge (and Aida & Anna & anyone else who's free)

Inge, I know Angie is scarce right now, but I thought I would check to see if you had a sense for what might work for you two to meet -- Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (Sept 19-21) -- when I am in the Seattle area. I believe my "schedule" is very, very flexible so just let me know.

I do hope it works out!

I have a party the afternoon & evening on Saturday, & a massage Sunday morning. Friday evening or Saturday mid morning to midday would be best.

I also have a very flexible schedule, any of those days is fine with me. Anna, Inge, and Angie have tougher schedules to sort out. I like the idea of Saturday morning because then I won't have to come off work

Vivian, I'm chiming in quickly to say that Friday evening is out because we have a prior engagement. I'm also not sure what our weekend holds yet - but we live very close to the centre of town so popping down will take two ticks. Perhaps we can have a cuppa or brekkie with you on Sunday? xo

Angie and Inge, I'm letting your schedule rule the day. Beth (my college friend) and I would love to meet you for breakfast Sunday. Please let me know where and when would be most convenient. Anna, I know this means I probably won't see you unless something changes. Aida, hope you can make it.

I'm not sure I can do Saturday too -- my friend Beth is organizing quite a whirlwind of activities. (I had to pry loose Sunday morning!) But let me see how the plan looks and I will let you both know, Aida. Would be great to see everyone.

I'll be coming from Edmunds. And I don't think early mornings scare me, but then again, I don't know how early you mean.

Viva, Edmonds as in the city ~20 min north of Seattle? That's on my way (I live a couple cities north of Edmonds). If it helps I could drive you in for breakfast

Edmunds is quite far away. A good 30-40 minutes from downtown. It's a very good idea to come through with Aida who is coming from that direction, Vivian. (Thanks, Aida).

I'd like to meet for breakfast at Cafe Flora at 9am (in Madison). They are one of the few places open for brunch that early, and it's a very cute place where Aida has been before so she knows exactly how to get there. It's also in walking distance from our house (so very convenient from my end). Parking is not a problem either.

This is just a wildcard...but if our hockey schedule is clear I might try to be a last minute addition....zero traffic early on Sunday mornings...Hmmmm

Aida, it is so nice of you to offer to drive! However, I will decline, because I am bringing my fashionista friend Beth with me, and I'm pretty sure we'll use that crazy early breakfast (haha) to kick off our day. I'm not at all worries about the distance. Driving 40 minutes to anything is quite common when you live in a small town. And I'm sure that Beth, who's lived in the Seattle area for eons, will know just where to go. I will just have to make sure we get out of bed. That will be the challenge.

Ha Angie:-) Thank you for managing my Seattle social calendar with such verve and enthusiasm, I tremendously appreciate it. And yes, perhaps I will need a vacation to recover from my Seattle vacation, but it will be soooooo worth it: I don't want to miss a second of all the fun we are going to have!!

Café Flora looks terrific, and it's brilliant that you and your friend can make it, Vivian. Aida: super fab that you can join us too. And Jackie: yes please!-)
