seattle dress designer and wedding talk

Hello gals! I never seem to have time for the forum any more!

So excited though...my sister (twin) is getting married in a year or so and she is quite the creative and artsy type so the whole thing will be anything but boring.

Does anyone know anything about this Seattle designer? Angie? My sister is pretty much in love with the Eucalyptus style. I think we would try and work it out through the mail rather than go to Seattle though. She is on a very tight budget.

Any thoughts on a bridesmaid dress to go with it? I will be the only bridesmaid so my options are wide open and I will have plenty of time to shop. We won't have the money for my dress to come from the same designer so I would be looking for something on the cheap that could mesh well with the style she's going for.

Hi Jessica, nice to see you again! Congrats to your sister! I'm not familiar with this designer, but maybe Angie or the Seattle ladies have heard of her. The dress is lovely and I can picture it for a outdoorsy, springtime wedding. Do you have any specific colors in mind for your bridesmaid dress?

The dress looks super cute. I just bought my wedding dress but never came across that specific designer. I think you will be able to find plenty of bridesmaid dresses that will go with it!

I haven't heard of the designer but the wedding dress is fabulous. I see deep purple bridesmaid dresses with that dress.

oh, thanks for the purple suggestion! i wouldn't have thought of that. my sister tends to lean toward all things aqua so i wouldn't be surprised if that's what she prefers for my dress...but we will see. i am trying not to get carried away with the planning....as it is HER wedding....and not mine....:)

any ideas on where i should start looking? i thought anthropologie would be good to match that sort of hippie/artsy vibe but a quick look online just showed cutesy florals and almost all day dresses. i have seen cocktail dresses in their catalog before, but i guess that might have been in the winter for the holidays.
