When I first read about the Seasons and Nature Challenge organized by Diane, I was pretty excited.

But when I saw the pictures, I realized I couldn't participate much, as I am partially color blind and really don't see colours very clearly on a screen....especially colours found in nature, as I cannot differentiate between tones of the same color and have lots of problem identifying colours in the red and green family.

But Jenn and Word Lily encouraged me to participate nonetheless, working with textures since I couldn't see colours, and I decided to do just that!
The rules for the challenge are here: http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-challenge

This photograph is one of my fabourites. It's got rich textures and I love the mirror image. I can see dark and light tones, spots and some rust/burgundy shades here.

I chose a brown maxi skirt with slim vertical pleats for lots of texture. The tan top has a spotted self texture to emulate the spots on the bird. And my scarf brings in many other colours to the ensemble, including a rust shade. I chose burgundy round toe heeled pumps to complete the outfit (Pic #3)

On second thoughts, I changed my shoes to mirror the colour of my top, a subtle nod to the beautiful mirror image of the bird in the picture.

What do you guys think?
