This is my third outfit for the challenge, you can find the rules here. This is, once again, an outfit I created and photographed on Sunday. I've decided to post it now - even though it's only the second day - because I won't have much time at the end of the week. I'm wondering if I should post the fourth too, or if that would be overkill...

Anyway, I chose the bird picture for my third outfit. I went with the skirt because the fine dots in the feathers reminded me of the pattern and then picked black on top and bottom for a mirror effect. The scarf brings some grey into the look and the pendant necklace for a spot of brightness. And of course I had to wear this ring...

Astrid, you are killing this challenge. I love the way the outfit shows the mirror images. I may need to post early too ( if I can get time to create and photograph outfits) as we will be begin a trip to the east coast later this week.

Thanks Elly - would you say the scarf and pullover are too low contrast in general, on me? Because that sweater definitely needs a scarf for me to wear it, I don't like the high necked black next to my face.

Thanks Maneera! This skirt isn't exactly a winter skirt though, it's a cotton mix. It's fine with tights but it also works with a t-shirt and bare legs, weight wise.

Brilliant! I like how you 'mirrored' the dark sweater and tights and I'm a huge fan of that skirt on you. The addition of your necklace inspired by the ring around the bird's neck is nice

Astrid, I really like that the scarf is lower contrast against the sweater. It gives a faux turtleneck/funnel neck/cowl effect that's really fun. The rust and gray are a great way to soften up the black, too. Will you wear this once it's cooled down?

Are you wearing these outfits, or just planning them for cooler weather? (I say as I type in a tank top and 80 degrees F).

Love the way you look cozy and luxurious here -- the picture is one I'd love to have on my wall!

Thanks Beth Ann. No these were outfits I created last Sunday, so nothing I really wore this week. We had 25ºC in the highs today, so not really the weather for wool.
