Searching for more Brooks Brothers Saxxon (Saxon) Wool Sweaters

A number of years ago Brooks Brothers made the most wonderful crewneck and turtleneck sweaters and the label says Saxxon wool. I absolutely love them because they keep me warm and yet they are the perfect weight, not too thin and not too thick. They don’t scratch or itch and I have hand washed them for years and they hold their color and shape. Here are the labels and I believe this name is specific to Brooks Brothers because of the trademark. I have a navy blue crewneck and a black turtleneck. I would love to buy another set of these but every time I go on to the Brooks Brothers website and do a search, I can never find them. If any of you know where I can locate them again, I would love to buy some new ones. Thank you.

I've had good luck with Ebay for searches like this. If there aren't any in your size or preferred colors listed now, you can set an alert to notify you if a new listing matches your search terms. Also - thinking Brooks Brothers had a change of ownership/bankruptcy - I'm guessing it's less likely you'll find these at retail.

Vicki, it’s actually spelt with 2 “x”s, so Saxxon wool, as a Brooks Brothers trademark and I found some with that spelling on Ebay. It’s apparently from the Saxon sheep. A type of merino but softer than most.
Mostly men’s available secondhand.

I also read that they stopped making them so secondhand is your only option.

Gah! Thank you all for your input and yes, I didn’t want to have to buy secondhand, but I may have to. I have done this before with other items. I didn’t know about the change of ownership so I appreciate you telling me that. I have often typed it with two xx’s when searching and I see that this is how it’s spelled on the label, so I guess doing a search with the BB name would be best with the two xx’s and if I wanted to look at a brand new line with Saxon wool, I can use a single “x” in my search (and thank you for telling me that this is even softer than merino wool; I had no idea.) Love learning new things by the way. Thank you, each and every one of you, for your input.
