SE metallic jeans -- anybody seen IRL?

Has anybody seen these IRL and maybe touched them? I am debating. Price point is good on sale and I would like to play with this trend. I have no idea what size to order. I feel suspicious of the Truesize that the Bay is telling me to try.

What tops would work with these, do you think?

I would also LOVE to play with this trend! Ah Suz, I would pop over to our Bay if I wasn't cooking dinner right now... These certainly are a good price point for trying this out. I think you could pair these with practically any top with good success. Just treat them like a neutral. I automatically pair things like this with black, but there are so so so many other options. If I get over to The Bay I'll let you know. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Oh, thanks, Jackie! Our Bay doesn't have them (OF COURSE) but I'm sort of tempted to order them anyway -- returns are free. Why not try, right?

I think a plain silk blouse would be best but believe it or not I don't have such a thing with sleeves -- my silk blouses are patterned. I to have a modal black tee and could wear a tux jacket. Or the white Pleione and my tux jacket....

Oooh, those are good ideas! I don't know about you, but I've had some rotten luck on shipments from the Bay. One shoe order last year never arrived, and more recently I made two orders over two days. The first order took at least 10 days, while the order I made the following day (non express) came within days. Maybe price out express shipping....

Not even sure our Bay would have them either, but it isn't too bad. Not downtown, but close (Oakridge).

Can't help with the sizing or anything, but I would think they'd look nice with navy, cream or white, lighter blue / chambray, black, charcoal, maaaaybe a chocolate brown?

These are good points about the Bay delivery. In my experience it all depends on whether the item's in the warehouse or in a store. If it's in a warehouse, it comes doublequick. If it's in some store somewhere, heaven only knows, and you'd better start praying.

Those could be fun. I must say I'm not a fan of how they're styled in the photo--too skin-tight and the top doesn't work well.
I guess I've become Angie-fied--hope you can size them for that slightly more straight look. I also like the idea of chunky creamy knit sweater or the stricter black turtleneck. Or a roomy black sweater. Navy might even work (either way one can sometimes look like a football team). Really like thinking of adding a soft texture to the shiny pants instead of using a flat weave silk.
Wish there were a kind of taupe metallic--that would be fab.

Hey Suz - I took a pass through our local Bay this morning to see if I could find and touch or try on the jeans for you (the whole time DS following me going "what are we looking for, Mom? Why? For who????"). It was funny. No Sam Edelman to be found anywhere. I'd never seen SE clothes in the Bay so it didn't surprise me. Hope you can order and try from online. Just wanted to let you know

Ah, Jackie, that was SO sweet of you!! Hilarious about your son, too. I've been in that position, shopping for another Fabber, too, with my DD trailing me and rolling her eyes.

I'll probably order them while they are on sale; I just have to fill up my cart with something else to get free delivery, LOL.
