Had to check in at consignment shop today (sold all three pairs of shoes!) so looked around to see if I wanted to spend my credit there.
I found this awesome scarf based on Edward Munch's The Scream. Confession: I am a Munch-nut and have a little collection of Scream things that people who know me well have presented over the years - mug, mousepad, two different variations of his work in prints.
The scarf is a fun find for me - green, ivory and brown which are color sin my secondary capsule and the green goes well with my spring cotton trench.
Picture one is The Scream (woodblock variation)
Picture 2 - 5 are details of scarf.
I couldn't get a good overall shot of the whole thing - it is long and wide but soft and scrunchy. The full length coat pic (over my pjs!) was too blurry so avoided posting.
Picture 6 is my part of my copper arm candy stash - I don't wear it all together! Added the bracelet with the vine shaped links today - found at a thrift shop for $3! So excited.
I made the blue and copper bead version with some old beads DH had.
Fun day for me (and DD - she's learning to thrift). I also found some good beads/necklaces to break apart and repurpose. Last outing until I go on a $5 budget but only spent $7 on myself not including the gelato break (banana!).
