So I ordered this tee from Nordstrom, who say it's made of "soft Supima cotton". It arrives, and the fabric is thin and scratchy. I'm about to send it back when I check the care label.
It says "wash before wearing." Is that just general good advice, or do they mean there's something nasty on this fabric that will wash out, whereupon it will feel like actual pima cotton? And what if I remove the tags and wash it, only to discover it's still scratchy and now non-returnable? Any advice?
