There's a nifty little boutique near my house that takes closeouts from bigger boutiques in Dallas and Houston. Needless to say, many of the things Texans don't like do actually thrill my NYC heart.
I picked up the Chie Mihara boots below for $50 and the Wayne Lee silk jacket for $20! (These are stock photos, none on me yet until I get a real mirror.) I was torn on the jacket - which I will wear with a non-nipple-revealing top - but it was $20. And white silk. And pristine. And fit. I figure I wear it to one event, and even if it gets ruined, score! Plus all of my dressy stuff is black, so a white jacket isn't a terrible purchase. Right?
