Help needed-School outfit

Hi, I'm new to this site and I needed advice on an outfit I picked out for school. I wanted to know if it looks good to wear a gray-diamond type patterned sweater with a wool black and white stripe cardigan?

Hi French Fry - I say yes to patterned mixing, particularly when the colours are complimentary. It would be good to see some visuals.

Sounds promising! I say it probably depends on the exact nature of the stripe cardigan.

For me it would really depend on the tones and textures and patterns, especially for a sweater over another sweater.

Of course one can wear anything one wants to wear, so this is more about what our eyes are trained to find pleasing, along with maybe a bit of some aspects of how the brain registers focal points and pattern directions.
