School Camp!

Hi Ladies:)

Master 8...who turned 9 today is on camp the next few days and I am going as a parent helper. Tuesday is going to be quite hot and as dressy is my default I'm struggling with what to take. I want to be comfy and able to participate but still would like to look ok and feel like me. What do you think of this top ?? Too much pattern? Accentuates my apple tendencies? Part of me likes the breeziness of it and the color but the other part of me is not sure.

Keep or return?

Please ignore crop pants and one shoe. Would wear with Bermudas, shorts or skinny jeans.

Oh my, Deborah! Watch out! Master 9 looks destined to be a knock-out! Look at that pose! What a cutie!

When it's hot, I let breezy override slimming. The neckline seems a bit tricky if you have to do a lot of bending over. : P

Deborah, it's a cute top but I'm also concerned about the neckline if you have to bend over. And are those your bra straps showing, or part of the shirt? And it seems a little big on you. I feel like you might want to go with a top that's got less to worry about. I vote return because I feel like you could find something easier to wear and that doesn't hide your nice figure so much.'

Happy birthday to your son! He's quite the cutie-pie with his pose...he's going to be a heartbreaker!

Haha Deborah, I just had one of those moments with all that Jason Wu stuff! Just needed to confirm my suspicions.

Sometimes I worry that I'll offend someone by saying something doesn't look good on them (because if they really love it it might hurt their feelings) but I know I appreciate honesty from others so I'm glad you're not upset!

Ok I guess you're returning the top, but wanted to comment on Master 9's outfit. Tell him that I love the combed-over hair, his graphic T (seems to be a good color on him!) and the laceless Cons. He is one stylin' dude!
