Wow, I've rarely felt so immediately sure that something was going to not be worth keeping.

It's pretty enough, I guess. I am the first to admit I'm not an easy facilitator of scarves...there is probably potential there for someone who's really adept with them...I'm not one of those people so I had to go by my first impulse. And I didn't even bother to style this for the pics.

It also has a large swatch of maroon. I like the lighter colors, the pretty, buoyant, floral effect, and I don't want a big patch of the burgundy.

Also my favorite portion of the scarf was a huge red rose. I realize that with this pattern, I would have to be very strategic and intentional each time, in order to get my favorite part of the scarf to show up and not be twisted into invisibility at the back of my neck, for example.

Finally, this is a pet peeve of mine, but it's not double-sided with the exact same print. The underside is still pretty, but it's much less vibrant. I'm showing the flower as seen from both sides.

Back it goes! Luckily I already have a bunch of stuff to return to Nordstrom.
